Issaquah Little League provides a wholesome, healthy activity for children using the ball field as a classroom to instill discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. It offers programs for both softball and baseball starting off with T-Ball.
To be eligible to play, your child must be of the proper League Age , and must live within the official Issaquah Little League boundaries. The League age requirement is different for baseball and softball, and will be determined based on your child's age as of April 30, 2008 for baseball and December 31, 2007 for softball for the 2008 spring season.
The league is run by a Board of Directors which is staff entirely by volunteers. We are always looking for more volunteers. Get the best seat on the field and spend some quality time with your child; volunteer to be an umpire.
We are guided by a set of documented local rules which you can find in the about us section along with other important documents. Safety is concern one and you will find several safety documents along with many suggested tips to help young atheletes get the most of their experience on the ball field.
Baseball and T-Ball teams are comprised of players league age 5 to 12. Softball teams are comprised of players league age 8 to 14. Games are played at local playing fields and coached by volunteers as are the umpires. As a measure of security we do conduct background checks against any person that volunteers so that we know our children are in safe hands. At the end of the season, some players are eligible to participate in All Star selection and will be notified at that time. Game schedules for Baseball, Softball and T-Ball are available and located in the Our Teams section.
