SOFTBALL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
| NEW FOR 2012!!! Issaquah Fast Pitch is offering FREE Softball Skills Development for girls entering AAA, Coast, and Majors levels. The Coaches and Players from Bellevue College will be our instructors! They will teach our players the skills of hitting and fielding. Through the generous support from our Sponsors, all fully-paid registered players has the option to register for one *FREE* Hitting and one *FREE* Fielding development camp at the Field of Champions indoor facility in Preston. The class size is limited to 15 girls for each camp. |

Issaquah FastPitch Coaches and Managers are encouraged to attend, learn the training and carry it into Spring Training for your team.

We are so fortunate to have Bellevue College Coaches & Players come to teach our Issaquah Little League Fast Pitch
players who are registering at AAA, Coast & Majors levels. They will teach them proper techniques for Defense (Infielding & Outfielding) and Offense (Hitting). Each player can
register for one defense & one hitting camp. Limited to 15 players per session. Player must be registered with Issaquah Little League to participate in this camp. We are so committed to
offering the best training to our players that this program is FREE of charge! Here are some facts about Bellevue's program: The Bellevue Softball program is coming off a great 2011 season where the team posted a 38-3 overall record and a 24-0 undefeated region record to capture a fifth North Region title and a fourth place finish at the NWAACC Championships. In 2011, the Bulldogs spent most of the year ranked number one in the NWAACC Coaches' Poll. The team also won North Region titles in 2009, 2008, 2006 and 2005 (the first region title in school history) and placed second in 2010 and 2007. For the last seven years there have been a number of all-league players including seven first-team and three second-team selections in 2011, including the North Region Player and Pitcher of the Year. Bellevue has also had a number of NWAACC All-Americans; Kristen Allen and Rogin Hardy in 2011, Tobey Varney in 2011 and 2010, Erica Addison, Dawn Norcross and Korri Heidemann in 2008 and Caitlin Storkson in both 2006 and 2005. COACHING AWARDS 2011 North Region Coach of the Year (Head Coach Leah Francis) 2009 North Region Coach of the Year (Head Coach Leah Francis) 2008 North Region Coach of the Year (Head Coach Leah Francis) 2005 NWAACC NFCA National Coaching Staff of the Year (Head Coach Leah Francis, Assistant Coach Rita Roach) North Region Coach of the Year (Head Coach Leah Francis) Coach Francis is in her eighth year as Head Softball Coach at Bellevue College. Each year at the helm, Francis' teams posted impressive records and over the seven years her teams are a combined 248-66 (a .789 winning percentage). Coach Francis attended the University of Washington where she played on the softball team from 1995-1999 and was a member of the 1996 Pac-10 Championship team and the 1996 national runner-up team. Leah also competed in the College World Series in 1997 and 1998, where her team placed third both years. As a senior, Leah was the captain of her team and as a sophomore, junior, and senior was on the Pac-10 All-Academic Team. |
Featuring three batting cages, four soft-toss stations, two pitching mounds and a viewing area, the Field of Champions is 6000+ square feet of turfed baseball paradise.
For defensive workouts, the batting cages can be retracted to create 75' x 60' practice area.
