Dear Softball Families,

Registration for Issaquah Fast Pitch Softball 2020 is now open!

My name is Jamie Svoboda, I am Issaquah Little League's Softball Commissioner. This will be my third year on the Issaquah Little League board, and this year will mark my 10th season coaching softball for the league. Our program wouldn't exist if we didn't have such wonderful volunteers who put in countless hours and who have a passion for the sport. I'm honored to welcome our fellow softball board members:

ILL President - Brian Mayer
VP Competitive, Softball - Kiki Haar
VP Instructional, Softball -
Player Agent, Softball - Victor King
Equipment - Jay Clark
Field Development & Scheduler - Terry Dodd
Field Operations - Greg Lipnickey
Safety Officer - Heather Bissmeyer
Secretary - Doug Miller
Treasurer - Cliff Bogh
Information Officer - Chip Craw

Each year we continue to improve our program. We have more girls playing softball than we have in Issaquah Little League history. With 3 A teams, 4 AA teams, 3 AAA teams, 3 Coast teams, 2 Majors team, 6 Junior players, 3 All Star teams, 4 Summer Ball teams and 1 Coast Fall Ball team which has made us the largest softball league in our division.

Our uniforms and team names reflect the Pac 12 College Softball teams. The teams are: Huskies, Cougars, Ducks, Wildcats

We have a fun year ahead of us. We we are planning on having tournaments with our fellow D9 leagues, we will have various softball skills development clinics that will be FREE for registered players throughout the year. The clinics will focus on the most current softball methods of throwing, catching, hitting, pitching and running bases. Our skill clinics will be lead by the head coach and players from Bellevue College Softball team. We will also have a outdoor skills clinic hosted by the head coach of Issaquah High School in April, A Little League Day and at the end of our season we will have Championship Day for our competitive levels.

Skill Evaluations this year will be on January 25th at Bellevue College for players going into AAA, Coast & Majors. The Skill Evaluations are to help us determine the skill levels that are compatible for playing safe and to have balanced teams.

We strive our best for our players to have fun, learn, be competitive and to love the game of Softball. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email me at softball@issaquahlittleleague.org.

Here's to a fun 2020 Season!
