Our umpire staff consists of adults and teenagers working baseball and softball games at the AAA, Coast, and Majors levels of play. On this page you'll find training and game scheduling information as well as information and links for umpires and anyone else interested in the rules of the game. New Facebook Page!
Issaquah Umpires have a Facebook Fan page at http://www.facebook.com/IssaquahUmps where we discuss rules and post information about game availability and the like. You don't have to be a Facebook member to read the page! But, if you are a Facebook member, you can post items and join in on the discussion. Umpires, please use the Facebook page to post rules questions or just to let us all know about any interesting situations you encountered in your game.
You can also follow the Umpire-in-Chief on Twitter at IssyLLUmp. We'll be using Twitter to give real time updates on things like rainouts, which games need umpires, pointers to rules issues, and so on. Give it a try - Twitter works with your web browser, through email clients that use RSS (like Outlook), via applications on PCs and smartphones (try Tweetdeck), and/or with text messaging.
