PICTURE DAY

Below is the photo schedule for Picture Day on Saturday, April 28th @ Dodd Field (by the batting cage).

Posted times are tentative as Managers may reschedule so please confirm with your Manager the confirmed time.
Managers and Coaches: If you need to reschedule your picture time, please send an email to kevin@starimages.org.

Managers will hand out photo packets with order forms for your team shortly. They will also have plenty of extra order forms at photo day as well. Parents can also pre-order at this link http://starimages.org/reorders.asp prior to photo day.

Photo Magnets - ***New for 2012***
Every player will receive a FREE photo magnet this season as part of your registration fee!
If you wish to have more than one magnet of your player, you can order additional magnets in the picture packet.

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL DAYS

Little League Baseball Days University of Washington Husky Ballpark

On May 12th and May 27th, Coach Lindsay Meggs and the University of Washington Baseball Team would like to invite you and your Little Leaguers to attend the "Little League Baseball Days." These events will be held at the home field of the Huskies of the University of Washington in Seattle. In order to promote Little League Baseball, as well as the college baseball experience, Little League Baseball and Softball has worked with various colleges and universities resulting in these institutions providing a "Little League Baseball Day" at the collegiate level. It is on this day that young athletes of all ages will get to experience the game of baseball at its finest. They will have the complete game experience from the warm up to the game-ending play.

Washington Baseball Days Saturday, May 12th at 2:00 pm vs. UCLA Sunday, May 27th at 1:00 pm vs. WSU

On Game-day: Little League players (8th grade and younger) are welcome to receive free general admission for both University of Washington games. Coaches, parents and family may purchase additional tickets through the UW ticket office at gohuskies.com or 206.543.2200. Everyone is encouraged to wear their uniform to the game. Team coupons must be requested for free admission at http://www.gohuskies.com/ot/wash-basebl-day-2012.html and seating is limited. Group tickets may be purchased for $3 with groups of 15 or more at 206-543-2200 or grouptix@u.washington.edu. Little Leaguers (in uniform only) are invited to join the teams on the field for the National Anthem All Little Leaguers and kids are invited to run the bases postgame FREE Husky Baseball posters (while supplies last)

IHS EAGLES CLINIC

Over 70+ Coast and Majors players braved the weather on March 18th to enjoy a fun-filled day with the Issaquah High School Team.

Thanks to Coach Reese and all the IHS players for a great camp!

Little Leaguers can check the season schedule to attend Varsity home games to cheer on the Eagles Baseball team.

ISSAQUAH EAGLES BASEBALL CLINIC

RAIN OR SHINE -- Get your Coast or Majors Little Leaguer out to work out with the Issaquah High School Eagles baseball team. A variety of stations to work on everything from hitting, pitching, fielding and throwing. A fun afternoon of working out with one of the state's premier high school baseball programs -- right here in Issaquah on the new IHS turf baseball field. There is no need to register. Just show up with your baseball attire and bring your glove! When: Sunday, March 18 Where: Issaquah High School Baseball Field Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Immediately following the Clinic, watch the IHS Baseball team put on an Exhibition from 3:00pm to 3:30pm. All ages welcome.

TURF AT DODD FIELD

What started off as a dream over a year ago has become a reality. Spearheaded by the countless hours put in by Greg Crockett and Matt Miller, along with friends and families of Issaquah Little League who all share the extreme distaste for baseball played in mud, turf fields are being installed at Dodd Field North and Dodd Field South in preparation for the upcoming 2012 Little League Season. Follow our progress here.

ISSAQUAH LITTLE LEAGUE APPRECIATION DAY AT DICKS SPORTING GOODS

Dick's Sporting Goods is holding a one-day team shopping event at the Renton Dick's Sporting Goods store location on Saturday, March 3rd from 9am - 8pm.

Every member of your organization attending this event will receive a little league coupon sheet with discounts for baseball and softball equipment. In addition to these discounts, you will receive an additional 15% off your entire purchase on this weekend. This equals roughly 25% off your baseball purchases and 15% off everything else in the store.

Please bring this letter with you to the event and make sure to check in at the Little League table when you arrive, where we will have raffle prizes, snacks and extra coupons in case you forget!

2012 SOFTBALL COACHES CLINIC

The 2012 Softball Coaches Clinic will be held on January 21, 2012 at Dempsey Indoor at the University of Washington. UW players and the entire coaching staff will be there to demonstrate skills and drills. Send an email to softball@issaquahlittleleague.org if you plan to attend so we can get a group rate.
